Health is wealth. Human health is affected by a number of factors such as the environment, foodstuffs, health facilities, and many more. These days hospitals in Nepal are flooded with patients suffering from different illnesses: acute and chronic. Patients suffering from cancer, heart diseases, occurrence of kidney failure, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and strokes are growing in Nepal. Therefore, it is worth examining if the diseases are linked with the currently used pesticides in Nepal. To ensure food safety in the country, we monitor residues of chemical pesticides in foodstuffs such as fruit, vegetable, water, and cereal samples.
